I can not stress the importance of attending an ACT event because the knowledge and camaraderie that we have gained is irreplaceable.

2012 Advancing Cooperation Together Conference held February 10-12, 2012

Dairylea Cooperative Inc. and Dairy Farmers of America, Inc.’s Northeast Area were proud once again to sponsor the Advancing Cooperation Together (ACT) Conference. The conference, held February 10-12, at the Saratoga Hilton, in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., brought together young farmer members from farms across the Northeast to hear important information affecting the dairy industry, including an update on how Dairylea Cooperative and Dairy Farmers of America are responding to marketing conditions, economic changes and customer requests.

The conference kicked off Friday evening with a welcome reception and Farm Services trade show, which offered attendees the chance to explore member services and member savings opportunities. Following the reception, the group participated in an interactive ice-breaker seminar hosted by professional speaker and trainer, Matt Booth. This seminar helped attendees develop networking skills which can be used in building long-lasting relationships. To read the complete article on the 2012 ACT Conference, click here.
